Halo 3 ODST is a must have for any halo fan. The story line is easy to understand even if you havent touched any other of the Halo games. Its not a particularly long game but the new multiplayer modes make it worth your cash. If you havent bought the map packs for Halo 3 this game comes with all of them. So basically you are saving yourself around 40 dollers worth of maps so that off sets the cost of the actual game to 20 dollers and for this game 20 bucks is a deal. The story modes consists of flashbacks and detective work. You walk around the city of New Mombasa by yourself at night trying to find out what has happend to the rest of your ODST team. You find different clues to what has happend to them and than you flash back into their shoes and play through the flash back. The gameplay is not like that of any of the previous versions of Halo. Its more detective style and less brute force when you go and fight you almost have to use tactics to survive. The other major part of this game is Firefight. Firefight is much like the Gears of War 2’s Hord mode. If you don’t know what that means it means you by yourself or with some friends team up and fight waves of spawns. Each wave is completley different and you will never get the same wave twice. The farther you progress in story mode the more territories you unlock for Firefight. I rate this game as an 8 out of 10.
